We first encountered teenage brothers JR Green [Jacob and Rory] last year performing for Music Plus+ at Belladrum Festival .

One year on, they’re poised to make a major impact, having signed a publishing deal with Snow Patrol’s publishing company Polar Patrol Publishing representation with 13 Artists and their debut EP ‘Bring The Witch Doctor’ is out 30 October via Hits The Fan Records [released Frightened Rabbit’s debut LP and Kathryn Joseph’s 2015 SAY Award winning album].

Growing up in Strontian in the North-West Highlands has shaped their sound, mixing traditional folk with contemporary influences, accordion and acoustic guitar, with sharp, teenage angst laden lyrics. JR Green craft genuinely original, exciting music and this is an incredible debut.

The duo perform at Edinburgh’s VoxBox on 17 October with a UK tour commencing in Birmingham 5 November, followed by Inverness 7 November, then Glasgow, Dunfermline, Edinburgh and Leeds 14 November.
