Glasgow four-piece Catholic Action release split single L.U.V. on the retro cassette format and digital download alongside alt-rock trio Poor Things via Fuzzkill Records tomorrow, 30 March.

Led by songwriter / producer Chris McCroy [from Casual Sex and Pinact], Catholic Action combine their art-rock sensibilities and upbeat melodies to create a captivating classic pop sound. Performing their first gig late last year they’ve already been tipped for big things by BBC Radio Scotland’s Vic Galloway. With a second UK tour scheduled for May, festival slots in the calendar and their debut album due in September things look very promising.

Catholic Action and Poor Things are currently on a UK tour together, performing tonight at Madhatters in Inverness, Broadcast in Glasgow on 3 April and at a free showcase as part of our Wide Days convention on 10 April at The Electric Circus in Edinburgh.
