Olaf Furniss and Derick Mackinnon, Scotland On Sunday, 24 April, Posable Action Figures

Posable Action Figures are Gareth Goodlad (guitar and vocals) and John Alexander (drums, samples and backing vocals), an electro, pop-rock band from Edinburgh.

For the past year, they’ve been tucked away in a Leith basement, writing and rehearsing and released their self-titled EP, (produced by David Lloyd of Stillhound / Discopolis) at the beginning of the month.

The results are marvellous; epic guitar riffs, infectious vocal melodies, tight staccato drums and samples – a brilliant debut. Single, ‘Mainline’ received a spin on Vic Galloway’s BBC Radio Scotland show last week. Watch the video for our favourite ‘Not At All’

The duo play Sneaky Pete’s this Friday, The Electric Circus on 20 May, Glasgow’s BLOC on 31 May and ButeFest on the Isle of Bute 29-31 July.
