Foreignfox are a five-piece indie-rock band from Dunfermline.

They released their excellent new EP ‘I Used To Be a Bellydancer’ on 12-inch vinyl via Scottish Fiction Records on Friday, picking up airplay from Vic Galloway on BBC Radio Scotland, Amazing Radio and BBC Radio nan Gàidheal. Jonny Watt’s emotional, raw vocals and Scottish-twang showcase authentic lyrics, with the music often gradually building towards gloriously epic choruses.

Foreignfox play today at Edinburgh’s Assai Records, with a headline set in Glasgow as part of King Tut’s Summer Nights Festival on 20 July. Other dates include Blackthorn Festival in Stockport on 22 July, a Nordoff Robbins Scotland fundraiser at Glasgow’s ABC on 19 August and Edinburgh’s The Voodoo Rooms on 15 October. STILLHOUND Artist of the Week in Scotland On Sunday
Scotland On Sunday, 18 September 2016, Stillhound

Stillhound are an electronic, pop trio based in Edinburgh, consisting of Fergus Cook, Laurie Corlett-Donald and Dave Lloyd.

Their debut album ‘Bury Everything’ is released on Friday via Lost Oscillation Records.

Singles ‘Time Enough For Love’ and ‘Spring Conscious’ are slick, hook-laden electro pop gems, guaranteed to get you dancing.

The LP has been clocking up rave reviews across the blogosphere with additional radio support courtesy of Vic Galloway and Jim Gellatly.

Their official launch party takes place at the Voodoo Rooms in Edinburgh on Thursday with support from EARfATHER followed by a string of tour dates [including Inverness, and Aberdeen] concluding on 29 September at Glasgow’s Mono with support from ST.MARTiiNs.

The trio also perform at the Scottish Alternative Music Awards in Glasgow on 12 October.
