Zoë Bestel is a talented young 17 year old nu-folk singer songwriter based in the small village of Annan near Dumfries.

She was the only artist to receive unanimous praise from our music industry guests when we first heard her at our Wide Days A&R You Brave Enough event in April.

Zoë re-releases her stunning debut album Sir Lukas and the Moon tomorrow. A mix of delicate, beautiful and spine-tingling songs, combined with her unique ukulele skills.

She has supported acts including The PeatBog Faeries, Nathan Connolly from Snow Patrol, appeared on Janice Forsyth BBC Radio Scotland show, and performed at The Wickerman Festival, Celtic Connections, Edinburgh Fringe and Cambridge Folk Festival.

You can catch her live 29 May, part of Dumfries and Galloway Arts Festival at Faed Gallery, [https://www.facebook.com/events/745477698901305/] for BBC at The Quay 8 June, [Free tickets http://www.bbc.co.uk/events/r69mxj] and Eden Festival in Moffat 13 June. Listen www.zoebestel.co.uk
