Read on Scotsman.com [in association with Hit The Road] ACUTEK Artist of the Week in Scotland On SundayScotland On Sunday, 29 April 2018, AcutekHailing from Forres in the Highlands, Duncan Falconer, aka Acutek started out as a DJ at the age of 15, winning numerous competitions for his skills on the decks, before going on to record his own tracks.A decade on and with several releases under his belt, his latest EP, entitled Darkside, came out at the end of last month on and spent a week at the top of the Hardcore/Hard Techno chart on the world’s leading dance music platform, Beatport, thereby further cementing his reputation as a producer to look out for. Acutek next appears on 5 May at the Flick night he co-hosts in Forres and his next track is due out in the summer, shortly before he appears at the Inverness Ironworks as part of the Exklusive extravaganza on 28 July.
