Their first tracks released to date boast various shades of punk, with Speed In My Coffee sounding like something from the early days of The Stranglers. Devil Dawg, meanwhile, combines fat chords with an injection of synth and even a hint of Psychobilly. This week sees the release of their latest EP, Spread Love, Smoke Spice- an ironic ode to the synthetic cannabinoid which continues a popular theme in the band’s amusing lyrical and social media content.Fiendz YT recently played dates south of the border and they return to Glasgow on 20 March at McChuills supported by The Vanities, Moon Runners and Southampton’s Happy2000. With a reputation for their full-immersion live shows, this promises to be one of the gigs of the month.
