Read full article on Scotsman.com in association with AIM (Association of Independent Music) Galileo’s Fan Artist of the Week in Scotland On Sunday 6 October 2019:Brother / sister duo Fi and Martin Vass aka Galileo’s Fan enjoyed a traditional musical upbringing in the Highland town of Nairn, near Inverness.Their debut album, ‘I Won’t Be Found’ was released last month and includes performances from notable artists such as the award-winning, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist (their brother) Mike Vass, as well as Admiral Fallow’s Louis Abbott. Galileo’s Fan have created an exciting, dynamic record. Combining traditional folk with indie pop, the duo use light electronica, slick production, and beautiful boy/girl harmonies to create a sublime, modern sound. We’ve had ‘I Won’t Be Found’ on repeat since hearing it on Bruce MacGregor’s Travelling Folk programme on BBC Radio Scotland.
