Mixing synths, as well as elements of hip-hop, jazz and orchestral music with fiddles, pipes and whistles, their approach has been likened to the late Martyn Bennett. This heady blend is further enhanced with the Gaelic vocals of Radio 2 Young Folk Award winner, Josie Duncan, as well as additional strings provided by the renowned Charlie Stewart.Tonight the band were due to launch their eponymous debut album at Mad Hatters in Inverness, this has been postponed due to weather. INYAL are still due to perform a Glasgow show at Broadcast tomorrow (Monday 5 March). With a slot already confirmed for the Knockengorroch Festival on 25 May, we anticipate that 2018 will see INYAL further cementing their live reputation.Olaf Furniss and Derick Mackinnon run the Born To Be Wide music industry events and seminars www.borntobewide.co.uk Under the Radar is in association with EmuBands EmuBands sponsor new music in Scotland On Sunday each week EmuBands, is a simple-to-use digital music distribution service for artists and labels to sell music through Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon and more.
