LEWIS CAPALDI Artist of the Week in Scotland On Sunday
LEWIS CAPALDI is a gifted young singer-songwriter from Bathgate in West Lothian. We first saw him tour with youth music project Hit The Road a few years ago, and he’s been on our radar ever since. Fast-forward to present day, he sold out Glasgow’s King Tuts in January and his debut single Bruises, released only nine days ago, has achieved over one million plays via Spotify. Capaldi boasts a distinctive, powerful voice, and possesses an uncanny ability to turn personal, poignant lyrics into hit songs with universal appeal. It’s clear this rising star is poised to make a significant impact. See the young songwriter live on Wednesday at The Tunnels in Aberdeen, The Ironworks in Inverness on Thursday and The Mash House in Edinburgh on Friday.
