But they've brought it back home, appearing at Loopallu Festival on Friday and Tenement Trail last night.Boasting a contemporary pop sound with definite international appeal, the duo formed after meeting at a Christmas party hosted by the call centre where they worked. Their debut release, Bullet, soon followed and has clocked up over a million streams on Spotify, most from listeners in London, Los Angeles, Dublin and Berlin.Their latest track Fever, is taken from the forthcoming EP released on Brixton label Aesop in mid-November, will be followed by another opportunity to check them out in their native Glasgow on 27 November - perhaps the last in such an intimate setting.Listen at https://soundcloud.com/thisislovesick Olaf Furniss and Derick Mackinnon run the Born To Be Wide music industry events and seminars www.borntobewide.co.uk Under the Radar is in association with AIM (Association of Independent Music) AIM, Association of Independent Music sponsors new music in Scotland On Sunday each week AIM is a trade body established in 1999 to provide a collective voice for the UK’s independent music industry.
