Posable Action Figures are Gareth Goodlad (guitar and vocals) and John Alexander (drums, samples and backing vocals), an electro, pop-rock band from Edinburgh. For the past year, they’ve been tucked away in a Leith basement, writing and rehearsing and released their self-titled EP, (produced by David Lloyd of Stillhound / Discopolis) at the beginning of the month. The results are marvellous; epic guitar riffs, infectious vocal melodies, tight staccato drums and samples - a brilliant debut. Single, ‘Mainline’ received a spin on Vic Galloway’s BBC Radio Scotland show last week.
