In the meantime, Tom McGuire & The Brassholes are keeping busy with the imminent release of their eponymous debut album, which comes out on the 18 January via Slug Recordings and will be marked with a special Celtic Connections show at the QMU on 3 February. For the uninitiated we recommend checking out the band’s popular YouTube channel, which features a selection of entertaining clips. The most recent sees them taking to the street once more to promote the charity single Rad Santa.
