Formerly Algernon Doll Glaswegian duo WOMPS is Ewan Grant [guitars/vocals] and Owen Wicksted [drums], with a revolving group of friends playing bass.Their debut release, 'Live a Little Less / Dreams on Demand' was recorded by legendary producer Steve Albini [Nirvana] and released via Damnably. The record secured support from NME, Clash, Vic Galloway and the BBC networks, in addition to performances at New York’s CMJ, Canadian Music Week, BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend, XpoNorth and more.The duo embark on a US tour in March, including a showcase at SXSW, with their debut album scheduled for release on a mysterious big label in early Summer.
