Edinburgh quartet wrest would likely appeal to fans of Frightened Rabbit, Fatherson and The National.
Their excellent new single, A Perfectly Spherical World produced by Jordan Duncan, was recorded from home during lockdown and is released this Thursday. Steve Lamacq has endorsed the band on his BBC 6 Music show and they’ve been championed by BBC Introducing via the Rapal show on BBC Radio Nan Gaidheal and by Jim Gellatly on Amazing Radio.

Subject to Covid-19 and the restrictions being lifted, future live dates include Dumfries (22 May), Galashiels (6 June), Bathgate (26 June), Butefest (24 July) and several tour dates throughout England with BRIDGES scheduled in August.
On Friday at 9pm, Stewart from wrest performs as part of the Gig in the Goil virtual festival fundraiser for The Trussell Trust (donate at https://bit.ly/GITGlockdown) find out more at https://www.facebook.com/wearewrest
