Edinburgh’s Cameo Habitat are a 5 piece, shoe-gaze indie rock band made up of Rowan Gallacher (Vocals/Bass), Oskar O'Neil (Guitar), Alasdair Moles (Synths/Samples), Nic Mason (Guitar) and Zak Watt (Drums).
The band have enjoyed airplay courtesy of Vic Galloway on BBC Radio Scotland and Jim Gellatly on Amazing Radio, as well as features from The Skinny, LOAF Magazine, Tenement TV and more. Frontman Rowan Gallacher, said of brand new single Trace of Self
“The song embodies the idea of changing your personality and outlook in the presence of others, being so caught up in the strive for acceptance that you forget the qualities and core values that you used to have. What used to be one's true self has been washed away by the pursuit, now they are only left with a distorted vision of someone that they used to be."
