LOTOS was the first unsigned Scottish Hip Hop artist to be recognised by the MOBO awards and to perform at Glastonbury. From her earliest release in 2006 as a teenager, to her 2009 debut album The Last Piece of The Puzzle (featured in the National Museum of Scotland), to her most recent EP Check Mate (schedule for release 30 April 2021), LOTOS boasts an impressive and genre-bending career.
She’s toured the world with Wu-Tang Clan, The Roots, Estelle, Skeptar, Busta Rhymes, The Game, Roots Manuva and more and been championed by everyone from BBC 1Xtra to The Scotsman.
Her new EP Check Mate features Edinburgh-based MC Revelations, Glasgow’s Rudi Boy, and London-based reggae sensation Izreal.
