We first encountered EmiV earlier this year as a participant on Scotland’s mentoring youth music network Musicplus+ where she received songwriting advice from none other than Fatherson’s Ross Leighton and Findlay Napier.
Her debut single and music video for her first single Open Your Eyes was released earlier this year with her second single Walking Away coming out in April 2020 with all proceeds going to the Tech Device Network initiative (set up by our pal Jenn Nimmo-Smith), providing tablets, phones and laptops to the elderly in care homes, as a means of staying in touch with loved ones at the height of the pandemic.
Despite only being 16-years-old multi-instrumentalist and songwriter EmiV has already played scores of festivals and gigs around Scotland and been featured by Ayrshire Magazine, music conference Resonate, Amazing Radio, and as far afield as Spain through Babel Magazine.
