We featured Fiona Liddell of Gefahrgeist a couple of months ago as a NewFoundSound introducing artist for their ambient synth/pop.
Frustrated at the lack of female artists on the Spotify editorial list Scotify, Liddell has produced a brilliant compilation album released on 5 March. The album sees fellow musicians cover an original song by another act and features covers of Gefahrgeist, Jen Ella, Sarya, Olivia Thom, Ceiti, Amie Huckstep, Mima Merrow, Post Coal Prom Queen, Chiara Baillie, PINLIGHT, Jen Athan, Francesca Ortisi & Aurora Engine. The album will raise money for the excellent Scottish Women Inventing Music organisation and from 5 February to the end of April all 13 singles will be released.
