Read on Scotsman.com [in association with Tribe Tattoo] CAMPFIRES IN WINTER Artist of the Week in Scotland On SundayScotland On Sunday, 12 February 2017, Campfires In Winter Campfires In Winter are an indie-rock quartet from Croy.They release their debut album ‘Ischaemia’ on 24 February through excellent Glasgow label Olive Grove Records and it was produced by Andy Bush (The Twilight Sad, We Were Promised Jetpacks), thanks to funding from Creative Scotland.The band have built a loyal fanbase and have enjoyed airplay from Steve Lamacq (BBC Radio 6) and Vic Galloway (BBC Radio Scotland) as well as coverage in newspapers and online blogs.Their sound is a powerful mix of post-rock guitars, dreamy piano, multi-part vocal harmonies, and Robert Canavan’s lilting Scottish accent on top - it’s a fantastic debut!They launch the album with support from American Clay and Book Group at The Old Hairdressers in Glasgow on 24 February.
