Hit The Road Tour, August 2016

National youth music touring project, HIT THE ROAD first tour of 2016 visits Edinburgh, Glasgow and Kilwinning from 18-20 August. Artists participating are: November Lights | Skjør | and Five Cousins. Managed by the Scottish Music Centre, the project provides young musicians living in Scotland 14-19 years old the opportunity to learn about the live industry, [via workshops/training] before embarking on a professionally managed tour.The tour has acted as a key stepping-stone in the development of some of Scotland’s most promising young artists including; KLOË, Model Aeroplanes, JR Green, Indigo Velvet, Aylee, Man of Moon, Be Charlotte, The Mermaids and is funded by Creative Scotland’s Youth Music Initiative (YMI) and PRS for Music Foundation.-18 August 2016 - Leith Dockers Club, EDINBURGH | TICKETS -19 August 2016 – The Hug and Pint, GLASGOW | TICKETS -20 August 2016 – YUC, KILWINNING | TICKETS
