Joshua Grant, Scotland On Sunday, 1 November 2020
Words by Derick Mackinnon and Olaf Furniss. Read on Scotsman.com
On return from New York city back home to Scotland (just ahead of lockdown in March of this year), Edinburgh troubadour Joshua Grant got active, recording a new song and video dedicated to his home city, and scored a number 1 in the Scottish charts in the process. And as if this weren’t enough, an ode to his favourite football team Dundee United, has been heard by eagle-eared viewers watching the games on Sky Sports.
Now another Covid complication has struck, after the pressing plant manufacturing the vinyl single of his reworked single Transparent (remixed and mastered by Mark Freegard and Grammy-winning Mark Ellis) was closed because of a coronavirus outbreak. However, once again it looks like this time there will also be a silver lining. When the records finally arrive (and pending the appropriate tier) a tour company has offered to provide a bus and a driver for Grant to deliver them to shops around Scotland. https://joshuagrant.bigcartel.com
