It is no surprise that Kathryn Joseph has been making waves in Scottish music circles over the past few months. Her album, Bones You Have Thrown Me And Blood I Have Spilled, is a spellbinding blend of distinctive vocals and piano, with producer Marcus Mackay joining in on drums. It was released in January on the recently-revived Hits The Fan records, which launched the career of Frightened Rabbit. Last Monday Joseph was in session on Vic Galloway’s Radio Scotland show, and the broadcast can be heard on the iPlayer for the next three weeks click HERE . She also plays Glasgow [King Tut’s, 5 March] and Aberdeen [The Lemon Tree, 28 March], as well as a free showcase at our Wide Days convention in Edinburgh [The Pleasance ,10 April]Already on several ‘ones to watch’ lists, expect this album to be a firm favourite for 2015.
