More than three years after the release of Light In the Darkest Corners, Lorraine & The Borderlands are back with a vengeance. Fans are set to have their patience rewarded with the appropriately named follow up album, New Way To Be which is also destined to win-over new admirers, when it appears later in the year.Currently being recorded with Jim Sutherland, who has produced many leading Scottish folk acts, the new material demonstrates a strong songwriting talent, more than able to transition out of the fiddlers’ ghetto and onto the airwaves. BBC Radio Scotland's Janice Forsyth is an early adopter and is set to host the band in session on Monday 14 March.
