OpenPlan are an exciting young indie-rock quartet from Caithness, the most northerly part of mainland Scotland. They’ve supported Under The Radar favourites such as Baby Strange, Indigo Velvet, Tijuana Bibles, Miracle Glass Company and fellow northern act, Wick’s Neon Waltz.
Airplay has come via BBC Introducing on BBC Radio Nan Gaidheal, and from Jim Gellatly on Amazing Radio. As well as sold out hometown shows, the band has played festivals including Sounds of Summer Festival in Wick and Edinburgh’s EH6.
Their debut EP ‘Déjà vu’ was released late last year and was championed by excellent live video, blog, podcast and promotions company - NetSounds as well as clocking up over 20,000 streams on Spotify. It’s no surprise the Coronavirus pandemic means all of their live shows have been postponed. In the meantime, buy some merchandise from the band and keep an eye on their social channels for updates see https://www.facebook.com/OpenPlanBand/
