Glaswegian six-piece Pelts released their debut album ‘A Little Less Lost’ via the excellent Iffy Folk Records last week. Influenced by artists such as Malcolm Middleton, Camera Obscura, with some Arcade Fire, it’s lo-fi indie-folk at its best.
Championed by Steve Lamacq on BBC 6 Music, Roddy Hart on BBC Scotland as well as smaller publications and playlist features by Snack Magazine, RaveChild, Scottish Fiction and Scots Whay Hae!, their LP was produced and mixed at Glasgow’s Anchor Lane studios by Luigi Pasquini with unique artwork created by Beth Cowey. As an integral part of the final release, designs were created for vinyl, CD, tote bag, and a beautiful set of postcards with accompanying lyrics.
