Alex Tronic and Shuna Lovelle
We got to know Alex Tronic aka Paul Croan as a regular attendee at the Born To Be Wide music industry social and seminar nights we used to organise in Edinburgh. Over the years we’ve featured a few of the artists signed to the Alex Tronic Record label. Set for release on 6 November the latest of these is a lockdown collaboration between Alex Tronic and Shuna Lovelle titled The Strangest Times and it’s brilliant, with the first play via Jim Gellatly on his Amazing Radio show, followed by Phoebe I-H and Shereen Cutkelvin on the new BBC Introducing in Scotland show.
Paul said, “I wanted to take advantage of some extra time in my studio and to try and push myself out of my comfort zone, by creating some edgy pandemic beats. Hopefully, I have captured a sinister musical vibe, with an atmospheric vocal delivered by Shuna. The live combination of vocals and viola really added to the ambiance of the track. We are all excited about the track.”
