INTRODUCING: Luke Hunter
Luke Hunter is a promising young singer songwriter from Edinburgh. Despite writing his latest single Another Minute (stream ⬇️).“about being heartbroken and being afraid to fall in love again” it’s a fantastically upbeat, bright indie pop song which helped him claim the number 2 spot in the Singer Songwriter Charts when it was released on 30 October.
When you visit Hunter’s Spotify page you’ll notice the presence of five albums (three in the last 18 months alone) which indicates just how incredibly prolific this young artist is, especially considering the fact he’s only 20-years-old.
His most recent album Songs from the Inside (Volume Two) also climbed into the charts, peaking at number 30 on the iTunes Pop Charts and his song High School being featured in Spotify's editorial playlist, peach.
Luke has been championed by RAPAL on BBC Radio nan Gàidheal, Jim Gellatly on Amazing Radio and in the live setting has supported artists including Roddy Hart and Kyle Falconer from The View. Although all future live gigs and festivals is uncertain, Luke has been booked for North Berwick Festival and Youth Radio Festival next year, fingers crossed!
