INTRODUCING: Maya Jane
Maya Jane is a young singer songwriter from Glasgow influenced by a range of artists from Lana Del Ray to DMA’s. She has secured airplay courtesy of Jim Gellatly on Amazing Radio and before the pandemic was busy performing in and around the Glasgow and Strathclyde area.
Although the future of live music is anything but certain, Maya does have her first gig of 2021 in the calendar a multi-band bill on 20 February at Gin House Hotel in Greenock. She’s also remaining tight lipped about some additional support slots (if the restrictions allow) with some higher profile artists.

Maya commented on the inspiration behind the song:
"I had a friend who was suffering from depression and I decided to write a song for her to help express how she was feeling, as I felt unhappy that I was unable to help her. I hope that people around the world suffering from depression can relate to this song and that it can help them in some way.”
